Dr Scient project

The doctor project has come to its end

On 30.03.2006, I successfully defended my thesis for the degree of Dr.Scient. Hence, the purpose of this page has come to and end. As there is interesting information on this page, I'll leve it here. A new page will be developed for further projects and publications.

Current Project

  • High level, efficient solvers for PDEs, using Python.
  • In particular, paraStencils, or PySE

Former Projects

I have worked on the project "Finite Element Simulation of acoustic waves with Diffpack". This project has its own webpage somewhere. I have also done some work releated to Mathematical and numerical modeling of medical ultrasound wave propagation

I have also written a litle report as an introduction to Diffpack, you can read it, it's here, in Postscript-format, it's not at all complete..

In the course MnVit we have to write an essay, it's in norvegian.
